 DeansHall Crosses Green - Frequently Asked Questions What are reception opening hours? Reception opens at 9am and closes at 6pm or 7 pm subject to arrivals. A security guard is on duty when reception is closed and will assist with check-in. Please advise us in advance if possible if check in is after 7pm. When can we check-in and check-out? Check-in is from 4pm and guests must check-out by 11am on day of departure. What facilities are in apartments? All apartments are fully equipped for self-catering with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery and utensils. One room in each apartment is a double room with en-suite shower room. There is one additional shower room in the three bedroom apartment and two additional shower rooms in the five bedroom apartment i.e. one per every two bedrooms in the apartment in addition to the double room en-suite. Apartments also contain a television and card telephone. Wireless Internet is available in apartments, vouchers for day or weekly use are available to purchase at Reception, weekly use is 10 Euro and day vouchers are 3 Euro. For Self-catering guests, bed linen and towels are included. There is a laundry room on site; tokens are available to purchase in Reception, 3 Euro for a Wash token and 3 Euro for a Dry Token. Do quoted rates include taxes? Yes. Rates are inclusive of tax. Is there parking available on site? There are a limited number of spaces available at the complex. Parking is subject to availability. Is smoking permitted in apartments? Smoking is not permitted in Apartments. Is there air-conditioning in the apartments? There is no air-conditioning in the apartments although most apartments do have a balcony and they are all well ventilated. Are pets allowed in apartments? Please contact reception on 35321 4312623 for details on this issue. Are credit cards accepted at reception? Yes. We accept Visa, Laser and MasterCard’s. What is the cancellation policy? The booking deposit of €200 is fully refundable subject to cancellation of booking at least four weeks in advance. Between four weeks prior to arrival date the deposit and/or balance paid is NOT REFUNDABLE. Is there a restaurant in the complex? Probys Bistro is adjacent to DeansHall, please visit www.probys.ie/ for information and menus. Where can we rent a car? Budget car rental at Cork airport will cater for all your car rental needs. You can contact them on 353 21 431300. How do we get to DeansHall from Cork Airport? There is a bus from the airport to the city centre running every hour for a fare of approximately €3. Approximate cab fare is €15. How do we get to the train and bus depots? You can find a map on our website; www.deanshall.com which can help you with directions. Is there a public park nearby? Yes. Fitzgerald’s Park on the Mardyke is just a ten minute walk from the complex. The Peoples Park on Grand Parade in the city centre is within a 5 minute walk. How far is the city centre from the complex? The city centre is less than 5 minutes away from the complex. How far is University College Cork from DeansHall? UCC is a 5 to 10 minute walk from DeansHall depending on which part of the campus you are going to. Where can I find information on places of interest nearby?
